Picture
Copper Leaf Stable, LLC was established in 2003 and found its permanent location in Green Bay, WI.  Caryn and Bert combine their experiences and talents to provide a quality equestrian experience with a barn family feel.

Bert is a third generation horse trainer.  He has worked for many top barns in the industry like Kohler Stables, Boston Morgan Farm and his family's Earehart Training Stables.
Bert has trained several Morgan horses to World, National and Regional titles. He has also has experience with Arabians, Saddlebreds, Friesians and Ponies.  Safety and a positive learning experience are just some of the qualities that many have found with Bert's riding lesson instruction.

Caryn fell in love with Morgans at any early age, which all started with her first horse Sparkler.  While she has a full time career outside of the barn, she is involved with many aspects of the business.  A passion for equitation is shared through coaching many of the equitation riders that call Copper Leaf Stable home.

I have grown up being involved with the horses from a very young age. I started out with lessons and camps and really found a passion for the horses. Soon after I started riding I got involved in showing Morgan’s at Morgan Valley Farm in a small town in southeast Michigan. I am looking forward to this next chapter at Copper Leaf Stable and I’m am excited to be working with you and your horses.

Drake Symbolik - Assistant

Drake Symbolik joined the team in February of 2025.  He has been around horses most of his life.  He started at a young age taking lessons from his grandma who owns a big horse farm in Ohio. Not long after, he joined the show world starting as a walk trotter.  He continued on through his junior exhibitor years with success.  After that is wasn't long before he was training colts and getting deeper into the show world.  We welcome his enthusiasm with young stock to the team and look forward to his continued success at our farm.
